Harvest Festival

At Harvest Time we give thanks for all that God has given us - it is a time when traditionally the harvest is gathered in, in September or October. People bring gifts of food to church as a way of saying 'thank you' They are distributed afterwards to cheer people up, and to help folk who are in need.

All Saints

The 1st November marks All Saints Day when all the saints - known and unknown - are remembered.

All Souls

At All Souls Tide - on 2nd November - it is traditional to remember those who are close to us who have died: there are memorial services at church and the names of people who have died are read out in the prayers.

Christ the King

The Feast of Christ the King - the Sunday before Advent Sunday - marks the end of the Church's year. We celebrate Jesus Christ, King over all things.
